Women’s Ministry

“The only reliable motive for encouraging women’s ministry in the local church is an insatiable longing to see the display of God’s glory in the local church.”

J. Ligon Duncan, Women’s Ministry in the Local Church
To that end, the display of God’s glory at Faith Covenant, we have developed five ministry areas to give our women the opportunity to serve where they have interest and giftedness.

Please consider where you desire to serve to see the Lord glorified, our church members loved and cared for, and our community changed. We are praying for you!

Bible Study Ministry Director: Sarah Morrison

In order that the women of Faith Covenant might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding  (Col. 1:9), we gather for the study of the Word. Our hope is to give glory to God in our study and to be better equipped by His grace to love our neighbor.

Our Good Shepherd, the One who came to serve and not be served, calls us to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, care for the sick, and visit the prisoner (Matt. 25:34-40). As we do these things for others, we do them as to Christ Himself. You can serve our brothers and sisters through Feed the Flathead, Helping Hands, & Cordial Connections.

Gatherings: Kim Hansen

We seek to gather together and several times throughout the year for lunch or tea, and love our new moms at baby showers. These events allow us to fellowship together, sustain existing relationships, and build new ones, encouraging one another to love and good works. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

To God be the Glory Hallelujah, Amen!
